Chang Jiahuang is a contemporary Chinese artist who inherited a family artistic tradition. He is the son of Chang Shuhong, a Chinese painter and protector of the Mogao Caves, and Li Chenxian, an artist in Dunhuang.
He taught art in Tokyo and at the Hangzhou Conservatory of Music. His art is influenced by other Chinese artists such as Li Keran, Wu Zuoren, Guan Shanyue, the ancient art of Dunhuang, and his experiences in musical happening.
