Giuliano Mancini, was an artist and sculptor of great talent. Born in Rome and settled in Saint-Paul de Vence from 1973, he sadly passed away on April 7, 2015.
Very attached to Saint-Paul de Vence where he lived for more than 40 years, Giuliano Mancini left several sculptures in the village including “The Cat”, with its clean lines, which greets visitors arriving in the village, the bronze “Saint Paul” sculpted in 1984, placed in a niche above the south gate of the ramparts and the “Bénitier aux Boules” on the Place de Gaulle, where Yves Montand used to play his famous game of boules.
